I'm just one of those people that could literally live off of pizza. No one's saying I'd live very long consuming that amount of saturated fat but hey, it's wishful thinking, right?
Finding some pizza in Philly is like finding air. They're everywhere! But which pizza joints to hit and which ones to miss? Which ones are good for dining in and which ones are better off ordering from? And the eternal sixty-three million dollar question, is it even worth my dough?
Here is a pick of some of the more popular pizza joints on Zuppler.
Penn Pizza & Restaurant
The highlight of this restaurant? Their free wifi! The wifi is available until closing time and mostly the connection is also pretty good! About the food, these guys are mostly known for their top notch fries and buffalo wings. It helps even further that the prices are very very affordable. You could get a hoagie, fries and soda in under 7 bucks! The pizzas are also similarly priced and pretty popular!
Trios Trattoria
The pizzas here pack a powerful punch in terms of flavor without making you feel queasy the next morning! The crust is just the right amount of thin, light and crispy. Yumm! Try the thin crust tomato pies, if you haven't already. At Trios too you could wolf down a meal of 2 pizza slices, fries and soda for under 8 bucks. The owner is super friendly, the place is clean and the pizzas are delicious. All the makings of a great pizza place!
Paolo Gourmet Pizzeria
This restaurant needs no introduction. A lot of people will gladly slap a 5 star rating on this Pizzeria. The cutest thing about Paolo? He gives new students at The University for Arts a free pizza slice and soda during orientation! Another plus is the beer. Everyone knows pizza tastes better with beer, right? A large gourmet pizza at Paolo's will set you back by about $17.

Stay tuned for our pizza hunt volume-II where we'll be visiting Giovani, Ed's Buffalo Wings & Pizza & Rana, Mad Greek's Pizza, Gusto Pizzeria, and Top Tomato Pizza Kitchen.
