Kingyo offers the best of Japan for a reasonable price. The decor at this
restaurant is modern yet traditional with the Japanese styled curtains, traditional screens and curtains between rooms that you expect from a Japanese restaurant. In the front of the restaurant is the sushi bar with the dining area situated at the back which has a more mellow vibe. They also have walls that have pretty wooden paneling and a warm purple paint. The tables are complemented by glass holders with black stones at the bottom and a flickering electric candle. The employees are all dressed in exquisite 
traditional Japanese clothing.
One of the best indicaters of a good Japanese restaurant is, well, the wasabi. The wasabi at Kingyo is fresh, homemade and quite awesome! The sushi is always fresh, well prepared and most importantly, lightly seasoned so as to not overpower the taste of the delicate fish. For the daring, they also offer nato, sea urchin, really good toro, and you can arrange with the chef for live urchin and live octopus as well! From the basics of sashimi, sushi, tempura, noodle dishes, hijiki salad, traditional-style pickles, cooked seafood and beef dishes, to the few less traditional but excellent new menu additions, Kingyo offers the best of Japan.
Kingyo has a liqour licence so you can team your excellent seafood with some Japanese white wine or pick one from the display of attractive bottles of sake, if sake is your thing.
